Please help with Email disaster?

Question

When I tried to retrieve my email (MSN Hotmail), I got a screen that said "windows live". I had never seen that screen before. For the first time in years, I had to put in my password, which I have forgotten. So now I cannot access my email. If I reset the password, it will be sent to my email account which I cannot access. How can I access my email account?

Read all the help screens on how to get your password reset - deep inside the info, you'll find that you contact Microsoft for a reset; they'll ask you things like the names of your folders, contacts in your address book and who your ISP is. Once they're happy that it's you making the request, they'll send an email with instructions on how to reactivate your account.
