i have neumerous times in florida.they are very tiny and you dont know youve been bitten until its to late.if you stand on one of their anthills they will crawl up your legs and make you a miserable itchy mess for quite a while. its not pleasant.

I've been bitten many times . The tiny worker ants leave a little pimple with a tiny white head . The soldier ants of the colony leave much larger infections . Those infections when healed , leave a bluish spot that lasts for five or six years - - - at least , on me .
I live half way down the length of Florida .

Yes I fell into a fire ant hill when I was like 5. didn't feel too good.

Yes. I was walking in a field and I had flip-flops on and I didn't see the mound in front of me. All my toes on my right foot were SO swollen. It wasn't fun. At all.
I live in FL. It's a common occurence. Ironically, I've never been bitten here. I got bit in AZ.

I hate ants period there so mean even when I'm not even close to their ant pile they go on me and bite me anyways lolz

yes! once my sister fell over in the grass and her hand landed in a fire ant mount it was horrlible.

I live in NC and I am always trying to kill off piles of them! Hate them very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
