I said Di Stéfano was the greatest spanish player so I'll have to go for Zico, he scored 66 goals in 88 as a attacking midfielder and was South American Footballer of the Year three times.

Ronaldinho...although he hasnt played up to the insanely high standards set for him the past couple years, he still has unbelievable control with the ball like no one who has ever played before, just watch him juggle and the way he makes the ball do things that don't seem possible ...I think if he got back into the excellent shape he used to be in he could still be the best in the world as he was a few years ago when he was voted footballer of the year 2 years in a row.

everyone here including me will say ronaldo but there were also argentine greats and so many brazilians like socrates, rivelino, garrincha, tostao, romario, rivaldo.
rivaldo was a greter presence in brazil than ronaldo.
you do know rivaldo right?
