It was issued to a relative during WW II after the invasion of Normandy by the Govenor of Nevada. I'm just wondering. I have no plans on selling it.

The value of old coins varies enormously on its condition, starting off with circulated or uncirculated. In some cases, a worn coin can be worth 50, and a perfect, mint condition coin hundreds of thousands. Search ebay for that coin, then look to see what coins best match the condition it looks like yours is in.
