Last week my son asked me something strange and I do not know what to do. More precisely he told me that he was never kicked in the balls and
he is curious to understand what is the feeling in being it in the groin, and he asked if I could hit him there. I was very surprised about his
request and impressed because, being 16, he was never been hit. Nothing wrong, but normaly at that age a boy has already received a kick
in the ball by a girl. At this point I don't know what to do. I mean, I don't know whether I should say that it is better that he will never receive a kick or suggest to ask to a girl that he knows but, in the latter case, I'm scared that she can hit him to hard. Maybe it is better that I do myself, maybe a soft knee just to let him cry for a couple of minutes and realize. Am I doing well? What would you do?

This is very strange indeed.

If my son asked me such a thing I would be shocked and horrified that he wanted me to inflict such pain on him. I'd refuse and advise that under no circumstance he allows or asks anyone to kick him in the groin because it would be extremely painful and there could be lasting damage.

After all that I would probably spend many sleepless nights wondering if this was something sexual that I should be worried about.

This is normal curosity. There is nothing worng with him, but I can understand your concern. It sounds like you and he have an open relationship- he was comfortable enough to ask you about it and to request you give him a kick.

A little self exploration MAY be in order. He can do some self squeezing and Controlled TAPPING to get a better understanding.

So, violence against women is a blasphemy, but violence against men is a normal thing, since you are surprised by the fact that he never have been kicked by a girl. You should be surprised if already have been kicked.

Tell him to hope it never happens! As the mother of a 19 year old son I wouldn't dream of hurting my son or asking anyone else to do it and I am shocked that you would! I am also surprised that you think he should have been kicked by a girl by now, why is that? Tell him it hurts and that's all he needs to know but I think he is probably winding you up.

It is a strange question and may indicate more than just curiosity on his part. Just tell him that it would hurt and you, as his mother, not only don't want to hurt him but see no reason for anyone else to hurt him. It's not the same as going to a doctor and getting a shot or a blood test.

If his father is out of the picture, are there any men who can take the roll of a father or big brother? Does he have any uncles or cousins to whom he can talk?
