All the iPods are video, photo and music capable. The battery is not affected by their built-in capabilities, but by what you put in them.
I think photos are better seen with bigger screen.
In terms of Apple, the iPod touch has a (relatively) huge 3.5" screen, controlled by a touch interface, with wifi and above all... Flash memory, not the bulky HD memory.

welll there is no iPod that is specific to photos only. what you can do is get an iPod and put only photos on it. thats the cool thing about the iPod. you can use it the way you want to and make it as individual as you like. so if you only want photos on it, then just put photos on it. i would recommend the classic for such a use, available in 80 and 160gb models. you could put as many photos as those capacities would allow on the iPod.

There are no iPods for photos only. You would be better off looking for a portable digital photo viewer such as the Epson P-1000 or Epson P-3000. There are also ones you can buy on a keychain, such as the Digital Foci Pocket Album here:

Dreamer, that does not exist. If you want to you can't the 80gb and you use it only for that purpose
