Some can. Some will still be in english with sub-titles in that countries language. When I was in Greece a while ago, I saw a show that we have here. It had a greek voice over and english sub- titles, but, I had a hard time getting into it. I spent more time reading the sub- titles then looking at the picture.

Yes, growing up in Germany as a little boy, I can tell you that I used to watch 'Alf' and 'Knight Rider' all the time. I know 'Baywatch' and 'The Simpsons' are huge shows in Europe. They run in syndication and new shows run about a season behind in most cases but in other cases they are only a week or so behind.

My friends in Greece watch many of the same shows I do, and they're not even late.
