Not that I feel I have to justify anything but let me just say that I only turned twenty one on the 10th of November and he is seventeen in a few weeks.

I'm just so sick of people calling me a "cradle snatcher" - at first I laughed it off but now I'm getting really angry.

Do you think it is wrong?

(By the way, this is merely a poll. Your opinions will not change anything.)

In the UK the legal age for having sex is 16 so there is nothing illegal going on as far as I can see, and you haven't mentioned whether you are having sex or not. If you care about each other and make each other happy I don't see a problem with that, 5 years is not such a big age difference. Good luck to both of you : )

definitely, sounds merely like dissociation, a minimum of the dropping bits of time. see in case you may get to a physician, a psychiatrist. you've scientific care instructions over the telephone if choose be, yet a psychiatrist is a physician who can diagnose you and prescribe drugs. people oftentimes see their psychiatrists as quickly as a month.

listen honey, a sixteen year old boy is different from a sixteen year old girl. He probably is in his element and you are just giving him something he is ready for. Its no problem, every young man needs a bit of experience.
However, the chances of him staying for long are virtually nil. He is at the beginning of his life.
If it was the other way round though and the girl was 16, although it is legal in our country, i feel that it would be morally unacceptable.

Well..., so far yes, although it is a little unfear....; imagen that the guy is really hot (") then it will be some one very difficult to resist. GUYS ARE EASY at any age !!
There is no major thrill in "hunting" them ...
You are making him a favor by offering IT at sucha an early age... Then whatis there to wish for the next 35 years?

Go for it, babe. However, it won't last, as at some time he'll go for a "younger" girl, but don't let that put you off.

And for those of the "American" persuasion, the legal age for sex and marriage in Europe is 16, withy the exception of Holland, where it is 14 (for sex).

If you are the domineering, mothering type then it is probably ok. Remember he is still a boy after-all not a man. But if that is what you like then go for it, i could not do that , i would feel insecure with a boy for a boyfriend. But good luck to you and a Happy new year.:)

for me personally, i dont think its wrong i just think its weird.
i mean, its a known fact that guys mature a little later than girls especially in their teenage years so that creates a maturity gap. if u were 40 and he was 37 it would be perfectly fine and you would never be called that..
but i think its completely up to you and u know whats best for you more than anyone so dont listen to what others have to say from now on if u are content with what ur doing

It's not wrong, it's perfectly legal! Just a little strange perhaps?
I know that even when I was in 6th form, aged 16-18, the lads were very much still boys, physically & mentally! Weird seeing them on Facebook now they are men! lol
If you're both happy, they good luck to ya!

If you are both happy with the situation, then there is nothing wrong with it. He is just 5 years your junior, if you stay togeter until you are 35, there would be nothing unusual for a 35 year old female, to be with a 30 year old male.

If you are both happy to be together, then I am happy for you both.

I don't know where you are situated, and I know you haven't mentioned sexual intercourse in your question, but if sexual intercourse between you occured it would be perfectly legal, unless you were in a position of authority over him, such as being his teacher.
