If you like Hunter why would you want McCain on a ticket? They are polar opposites on almost every issue. Hunter is a very honorable, principled man who wants whats best for America. McCain is selfish and yells at everyone who disagrees with him.

Hunter wrote the bill authorizing the border fence, wants to enforce existing immigration laws, and have a strong military. McCain is obsessed with talking about how he was captured when he fought in Vietnam. Hunter fought and his children are currently serving in Iraq but he doesn't make that the centerpiece of his campaign.

Hunter wants to make the tax cuts permanent and is in favor of tax cuts. McCain has refused to sign a pledge not to raise taxes and voted against the tax cuts twice, including not wanting to repeal the death tax.

Hunter is conservative across the board and a great person, McCain is liberal across the board and is a jerk.

A much better ticket would be Romney-Hunter.

I think that could work. Hunter was a big supporter of McCain during the last go around with Pres. Bush. Hunter certainly has the skill to go it alone but not the financial backing nor name recognition at this time. Yes, this could be a win-win.

McCain is toast. Conservatives is his party will never vote for him. The only thing he's done of any significance is serve in the war.

I would go for a Paul/Hunter ticket...

That would be unstopable.
