I have been thinking about it for a couple years now. I am a 34DD but i am a really tiny girl.... I am 5'1 and I wear a size 1 pants. I have to buy large shirts, which dont flatter my waist. Can someone who has had one tell me some more info like how they do it? how much it costs?

Its free when it is covered by insurance! Mine was covered 100%.

I had it done Feb 2006 and would do it again if I had to.

Please check out this site and contact me, I'll send you my "surgery story" (Long).

My mother had one.
They cut underneath UR breasts & then take excess skin out & then sew you back together.

Then because you are so tendar after the opperation, they have you wear some kind of tight tube top of sorts, so as to not have an adverse effect on the stitches, etc.......

So, with that brace of sorts, you will for awhile look flat chested, until the doctors tell you to take it off.

If you are the size you say you are, then yes a breast reduction would be good. I'm sure you are a smart girl, & do not want to be looked at in a sexual way. Men have a habbit of looking @ UR chest, ratther then @ you, for who you are when you are big chested: I know all about that one.

I can't tell you how much it costs, because I didn't bother asking my mother.

My best friend had breast reduction surgery, and insurance paid for it due to medical reasons. As tiny as you are, you are more likely to suffer from back and shoulder problems, and if you have insurance, it should pay for it. Ultimately, I think the total bill before insurance was around $4000.

She had some pain for the first two weeks, but she was thrilled with the results. No more back or shoulder pain. They basically lipo the area. There was bruising, of course, and a bit of pain, but she said that it was the best thing she ever did. Some temporary pain for a permanent result. Good luck!
