This year - will be the 2nd new years ill be spending alone, my husband for the 2nd year running will be working and everyone i know is either far away and busy or spending it with their partners! I dont actually like going out at new years and would probably choose to stay in with with husband if i had the choice, but the thought of spending a 2nd new years in alone seems so depressing and lonely. i also live in town next door to a pub! is anyone else spending it alone without anybody? even if you have family or partners and just cant be together?

Heh, but that's OK since I'd probably be alone otherwise. I agree though, New Year's is a terrible holiday to spend alone, especially if you're single. It can get awfully depressing.

I don't have a boyfriend but I still go out to the nightclubs on New Years Eve, you can still have fun, I don't need a fella to enjoy myself, if you have mates or relatives who are going out, why not join them?

I'm right now spending ti alone, my mom is in Vegas right now, my sis is back home (hermosillo, sonora, mexico), my dad is with his new wie in oaxaca, so I'm left alone in Monterrey, Mexico. My first new years alone and I'm not feeling as depressed as I thought. I did have 3 invitations but I definitely didn't feel up to it. If you wanna chat email me.
