How to protect and hide my journal?

I think my mum's reading my journal, which has no lock on it but i've only written in about 1/6 of it so i dont want to buy a new one with a lock. Any ideas how I can hide it/lock it?

A good way to do this may be to disguise it. Disguise it as another book - or maybe not a book, but a different object. You could also hid the book inside books on your shelf (assuming you have one). Maybe you can find a way to attach the diary temporarily to the under of the your desk - so you can take it on and off. Maybe hid it inside the pocket of a clothing or inside a few under wears so she won't see it!!
