Legal american borned workers must pay income taxes, their employer must pay additional taxes besides paying their wages and must fill lots of paper work.

Illegal immigrants don't pay income taxes. So they can charge a lower wage to the employer and still make good money. The employer doesn't have to pay occupational taxes to the government and doesn't have to fill lots of paper work nor hire an accountant to sort through this perpetual fiscal mess.

On top of that, the social programs, social benefits, social security attracts illegal immigrants.

If America was a true capitalistic free country, free trade, free market.

American borned workers would not pay income taxes and could compete with Illegal Aliens.

Plus we would have no social programs to attract illegal immigrants.

We don't need a Fence on the border. We need a solid political border.

Cut down socialism and you will end illegal immigration.

LEGAL, AMERICAN BORNED workers could be made CHEAPER if they did NOT have to pay income taxes, they could ask for a lower pay and still keep a good paycheque.

Employers would NOT have to pay occupational taxes on top of the legal workers salary.

So legal workers could compete with illegal immigrants.

It's all socialism's fault that current employers have incentives to hire illegals.

Yes, republicans still charge taxes, still wate money on useless social security and other social programs. So they are part of the problem too. But the guiltiest are the liberals.

I'm glad that we have you as testament to our education system.Borned?!!
Starting with your first assumption that citizens or legal residents are all paying income taxes is a naive at best theory. There has been an underground economy for years consisting of those who pay no taxes either as a protest of what they feel is an unlawful system or those who are collecting some form of governmental subsidy(unemployment, social security,disability,etc.).
Next on your list is the idea that illegal immigrants don't pay income taxes.Just what do you base your theory on?The fact is that most illegal immigrants pay not only income taxes;but social security as well. They are able to acquire false documents which include a social security number. These numbers are fictitious;but yet the employer the excuse that he received the needed documents. Most of these illegals don't file a tax return or collect on the social security they have paid into the system and as such actually contribute something of a surplus.
The blame goes not to Democrats or Republicans;but to both parties who have done nothing to stem the tide of illegal immigration(from whatever country). It is also the American people who have done nothing but vote the same people with the same ideals into office.
"Cut down on socialism and you will end illegal immigration"?What an incredibly foolish statement to make.As long as we have wages that pay in an hour what some in other countries take as long as a week or month to make;there will be a steady stream of people coming here. That is how and why our ancestors came here.To better themselves and their families.
I suggest that you research your ideas before making such wildly inaccurate statements.

Illegal Immigration is not something that is New. My Great Great Grand Dad and Mom came here Illegally from Holland.

By the way De_webwa: Bush was not even born then.

They came here in the Steerage (meaning in the bottom)section of the ship, got off in the early morning hours in freezing cold weather with wooden shows on and put to work
the same day. They were given a place to live that was crowded with several other people who were also here Illegal.
The place to live was a wool blanket and the floor. Ny, Ny get pretty cold during those times.

They were Glad to be in the USA and never complained. As time went on and as allowed they learned the English Language, studied and applied for citizenship, took the test and became American citizens.

My Grand Dad was born in the US some years later and gave his life in the War of that time so other people could have the freedom he so enjoyed. Every Male member of my family has volunteered to serve the US and have worked, payed taxes and contributed to the growth of this country.

There are many many other similar stories just like the ones of My Great Great Grand Dad and his family. If these things had not occurred then the people in the US would not have the freedoms they have today.

No one is to blame for Illegal Immigration rather the fault falls on the way it is being handled today. This could be solved quickly by providing temporary work permits and social security number so these honest hard working people of today could start contributing to this country also. That process would solve the problem and complaints of the America citizens who say they are tired of the Illegal not contributing. In the process, prepare them for citizenship and teach them the American way of living and the Language.

Cheap labor benefits the businesses that employ them. Those businesses mostly support Republicans. Follow the money and you’ll be able to evaluate the issue more clearly. Liberals don’t like the prejudice that the issue engenders and want people to be treated decently but the real benefits of illegal immigration go to the conservative-based businesses that support Republican ideals of less government interference with business, no unions and fewer worker-oriented regulations.

If these workers were legal, their employers would have to pay decent wages and unemployment insurance. Many such workers work “off the books.” Their employers enjoy lower labor costs, higher profits and few complaints about workplace safety or unfair labor practices.

Nobody is looking at the big picture here. In the big picture, liberal welfare programs, liberal-created indigent hospital funds and liberal schooling of illegal immigrants' children, to name few things, are all things that have encouraged illegals to come here. Everyone wants to blame Republicans for hiring them, but if these bleeding hears weren't so hell-bent on making life GREAT for these people here, they wouldn't be tumbling over each other trying to get here.

I live in New Mexico, and right down the freeway from where I live, children are being bussed from Mexico to American schools every day. (Deming is only about 25 miles from the border.) Our citizens' property taxes are paying for the schools that Mexican Nationals' kids are being educated at, and they aren't even required to learn English. The teachers are required to learn Spanish. No Republican had a damn thing to do with tax money being so grossly misappropriated.

LIBERALS take tax money from Republicans (and, yes, Democrats,) with enough ingenuity to make enough money to be taxed and this is the way they spend it.

Federal law mandates that illegal immigrants get emergency health care and free education. Illegal immigration has increased in multiples since Bush has been president. There are fewer border guards, and far fewer raids during the first 5 years of his presidency. His administration only started a crackdown on illegals after the failure to pass a comprehensive immigration reform that would have given millions a path to citizenship, which he backed.

Most of the people who come here illegally come for a paycheck to send back to Mexico. It is a measurable part of Mexico's economy. I don't think they are even aware of our social programs before they come. How would they sign up for them without ID?

Before you just decide to blame "liberals" for everything, why don't you question what the so-called conservatives are up to. They want the illegals here for the benefit of the people who hire them. That could be true of both parties.

All politicians are to blame for illegal immigration, but I'm sure that if it wasn't for voters contacting their Republican congress person with utter outrage that the amnesty bill would have passed. There was no hope for the Democrats. Most of them were voting for it no matter what.

Liberals and cons are both responsible for illegal immigration having been tolerated for so many years. It is only the last two years that the people have demanded that pols get tough on the illegal alien invaders. The people realize that having 20 to 38 million third world invaders living illegally in our country is abhorrent and unacceptable. They are ruining this country, although they are good for business.

Americans are now demanding that our pols get tough on illegals, enforce our laws, and secure our border with Mexico. The Dems and a few Repubs have blocked meaningful progress on the federal level, so Repubs in many states are leading the fight against the invasion, i.e, GA, CO, OK, SC, and especially in AZ.

All of the Dem candidates for the presidency have committed to granting amnesty to all of the illegal alien invaders in our country, as have McCaine, Huckabee and Giuliani. We must choose a candidate who will get tough on the invaders, so Thompson, Hunter, Paul, and Romney are our only choices.

The republicans have done nothing to stop illegal immigration.

Why would anyone consider voting republican and voting for continued failure?

The republicans will do nothing to stop illegal immigration, because big business likes the cheap labor, and big business likes republicans.

Immigration is merely a political tool to get the uninformed to vote republican...the same as abortion.

Aren't republicans supposed to be anti-abortion?

Then why would many republicans vote for Guiliani if he gets the nomination, when Guiliani is pro-choice?

Because the republicans don't plan on doing anything about abortion...they use it as a political tool to get the uninformed to throw votes their way, just as they do with the immigration issue.

Why vote for continued failure?

What social programs do they get,
Any employer that hires illegals should be sought after and put to death by public hanging for crimes against their fellow American Citizens.
The political will that's a joke right!!!
Do you honestly believe only liberals are to blame for illegals.
Now if people are sought after and publicly hanged for hiring them now that will put a stop to the illegal problem

Edit
I do not want to work for less and if I pay no taxes I get no benefits, like workers comp, unemployment S/S
Hang the employers now and that way we can take their business
You are a true Republican and I am a true socialist you want people to work for nothing, fooking republican.

as much as I'd like to say that..

I'd say no...I maintain that bureaucrats that think they can enforce what laws they feel they should enforce and look past enforcing others are the ones at fault..

if they enforced illegal immigration laws with the same zeal they make us wear seatbelts in cars and not smoke in public places...there would not be 2 HBO ch. that I pay for broadcast in Spanish
