I am really struggling financially and most of my clothes do not at all reflect my personal style. I am very pettite UK size zix so basically I just get what fits and what I can afford. Sometimes from charity shops from sales etc. Just what is warm or whatever. As a result few of my clothes are really my style or what I would choose to wear if I could afford to. Is there anything I can do about this? I do not have time to learn to sew and I do not have many friends I could swop with or whatever.

Any advice please. Thanks

Think of it as a fun challenge for yourself.
Find different ways to wear pieces of clothing so it looks more unique and creative.
Sewing is really easy if you are just doing something simple. I know that I added a few stitches to my skirts to make them high waisted. It made them look so different and it didn't take long at all!
Sometimes the best clothing items are found at thrift stores and such. Check those out because they have so many unique things and are really cheap!

topshop sale!!!! they have petite clothes down to size 6! and same with jane norman!! jane normal sizes are extremely petite if your size 6 you're lucky because you willl be able to get clothes there!! remember its sale time so look carefully and you will find small size clothes for as little as £4 for a top! i was with a friend who is size 6 and she found clothes!!! n i found a top in new look that i loved for £2 but i'm size 10!
so money isnt a problem when you look in cheaper stores at sale time!

I was in your situation when I was young and just starting out after college, and I bought clothes secondhand too. My advice to you is to purchase only clothing that reflects your style, period. If that means you have only four outfits, so be it. At least you'll feel good in them. Also, express yourself through accessories like jewelry and belts. Secondhand stores are great places to find stuff like this.

the importance is to wear clothes not the clothes to wear you.when you don't feel confident in an outfit, this can affect your whole mood and make you look even awkward.sometimes it's all about choosing the right clothes for your body and matching them right.b the way in second hand shops I've found some gorgeous vintage clothes!but the point i want to make is TO FEEL MORE CONFIDENT WITH YOURSELF AND DON'T STRESS OVER CLOTHES BECAUSE THERE ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS YOU CAN DEAL WITH HONEY!!!!!!!!

it ok to get clothes from second hand shops, just pay more attention to what is your style. you don't have to just buy what's there, look for what you like instead of just what is sensible. i like to shope at thrift stores cuz you never know what you're going to find and if you find something totally oringinal there's probably no chance in seeing someone wearing the exact same thing:) have fun with your clothes
