yesterday i got a used game the game was nfl gameday 2004
and when i got home i opened it and mlb 2005 was in it
i dont have the recit so what should i do

Take it back. They should take it back even without the receit, but they could deny you too. Just explain what happened and make sure you have the case to prove they gave you the right case but wrong disc. If they don't let you return it, try to catch the person who sold it to you or if worse comes to worse, complain to the manager. (its not uncommon for gamestop to put the wrong disc in)
I had gamestop do something similiar to me the other day when I bought WarioWare and they gave me the disc and case but forgot the game. I took it back and they didn't even ask for the receit and gave me the game.

i'd go with yokihanah, they should give you the game and let you return the other one without the reciept. just make sure you have the box the wrong game came in and you'll be fine.

You can try to go back but I doubt they will give you your money back with out the receipt since they will think that your trying to trick them by switching the game
