hi,

I am a new landlord in New York. I want to educate myself on being a landlord. Are there any good web sites, books or other resources that you've found useful as a landlord that you'd recommend?

thanks

2 strikes against me for answering your question with out being a landlord or residing in ny yet once you pass to the state of latest Yorks website and look at landlord/tenant regulations, become familiar with them and then pass to a e book place and consider any books pertaining to to it interior the actual assets section you have gotten a base to initiate with. additionally look on the Dummy sequence of books (i'm on no account asserting you're a dummy)because of fact they inform you in ordinary to understand words, very diverse orientated and recommend othe books to examine.

get good tenants. do a background check. check the last place they lived.

it's very hard in NYC to get a bad tenant out so an ounce of prevention...
