Sex is more necessary to your happiness. But hopefully sex with someone that you love, even if it is right now. but you still have to be an adult about it and use protection and talk to the person you get with about diseases, etc.
Drugs are what you do when you are bored with life and really don't want to live anymore. You feel "hey, might as well feel good before I die." Because you WILL die quicker, one way or the other.
Rock and roll is a way of life. Not necessarily the best, just look at any of your rock heroes, and ask yourself if they seem happy. Yeah they have lots of money and fame and sex and drugs, and stuff. but is it making them happy? How many times divorced? How many times in rehab? How many times have they been arrested? etc.
It is a sad thing to look at happiness only through another's eyes

Rock and Roll by a longshot! You have to have a soundtrack to your life, and figuring mine out keeps me wonderfully happy. The music will stay in my being forever, not being high or having sex.
