Not anytime soon, but if Randy is back next year (very likely) I dont see why next year Brady and Moss cant match or even break their current records.

Yes. In less than 5 years.

You have to look at how quickly offensive production is accelerating due to rules changes. For example, take a look at the 30 TD seasons and see how many of them are within this decade, compared to every other one.

Of the two, the Moss record will last the longest because most offenses are not so completely unbalanced in favor of one receiver in scoring situations.

In time sure. No one thought Marinos' TD pass record would ever be touched and Manning and now Brady have done it. With the rules so lopsided in favor of the offense it is only a matter of time before the records are broken again.

ill give brady his props... 50 touchdowns... good for him...
but 23 TD receptions in 16 games is not a huge deal... lets do some math... Randy Moss average 1.43 TDs per game
Jerry Rice(22 TD receptions in a strike shortened 12 game season) 1.83 TDs per game... so if Jerry had 4 more games no one would ever touch his record... thats almost 30 TDs in a regular season... alot of quarterbacks dont get that.

Most likely. The NFL has talked about making an 18 game season. It will give some one a greater opportunity to break the records.

Well it only took a few years for Brady to break Mannings record . i think they will get Broken but Brady will be able to enjoy it alittle longer than Manning did.

Unless Manning is that upset and tells Dungy to draft the fastest wide reciever available then the Colts turn into an Arena Football team because Peyton wants his record back .
Then the record wont last that long

Who??? Randy Brady and Tom Moss never heard of them. I hope they are not coming close to Europe!!!

Why,yet again, are questions which are peculiar to the USA being asked on Yahoo Answers UK and Ireland?

Even with Manning playing in the dome, he could only get 49. So the answer to your question is never. These 2 passing and receiving records will never be broken. A lot of things have to coincide for something special like this to happen. I doubt it will ever happen again at least to the 2 players on the same team. I guess this settles one thing. Brady vs. Manning question. Now with the record, whos on top?

I think Brady and Moss will break them both next year. I think there's a good chance the Pats go 19-0 next year, which will really hack off the NFL. After this season, Tom will want that 5th ring!

Records are meant to be broken. The NFL is now favorable to a throwing game. We should enjoy these records while we have them.
