Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.
Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom!"

And when he's gone,

We keep sending these people to office without taking the time to go and vote someone else in. These elected officials know that we as a group, wont take the time to make our voice heard.

If 70% would pick up the phone, or send a letter to their elected officals, tell them " What you expect from them", it would get some attention. You might have to follow it up by voting that person out and getting someone else into office.

We kicked England out many years ago for their taxing policy, maybe we need to revisit the Boston Tea Party.

Dont forget the new taxes being introduced. Those on fast food and snack foods. The Dems propose this nonsense. The Repubs instead of stopping it say thats ok but we will make it less. The Dems make it soi high that the less the Repubs says is what they want. Its all a game by both sides.

Notice that all these taxes tax the rich and poor the same!

I don't mind taxes if everyone pays their share and we get something in return.

The middle class is taxed almost as much as Europeans and we have no healthcare, no free daycare, no free college, no free dental care. no minimum 6 weeks paid vacation, no paid family leave, etc.

The middle class is getting screwed while the rich and the corporations make out like bandits.Think: 20 years ago 60+ of revenue came from corporations; Now 7% does. Who do you think pays the difference?

We need taxes to finance wars and keep the royal family and hangers on, in the station to which they have been accustomed . If you do not pay 22% of your salary, who will? The rich? They already pay 10% of their business profits.Talk some sense woman!

What ever happened to a government by the people for the people? Could it be that we've given so much control to "big brother" that we are only now starting to realize what we've lost.
