It would say in the specification section of the manual. You should be able to find that manual at the manufacturer's website.

If you told us the brand and model number of your motherboard, we'd look it up. Always include as much about our question that you can. Even without the manual, you can see the brand name and model number on the board itself.

So ask a whole new question with more details.

the mother board is what is in your tower or laptop and controls your PC or laptop its a board it just sits there it does not have a socket

You can either READ the MANUAL it came with
or
GOOGLE it's model Number and find out what range of processors it supports that way !
