I bought a computer game for my laptop and everytime I try to install it I get a croption error for some type of file and its a new laptop and the game and my laptop are compatable.....Any idea how I can fix it cuz?

I have viesta and quick time and everything are always up to date because of the programs I have to run for school it will work on xp but I need to work on my laptop cuz my moms bf wont let me use his computer....The name of the game is Trillville: Of The Rails

You should do your updates.Your game might need a newer version of something like Direct-X or Quick Time to make it run.Always make sure your computer is up to date.

Might have helped to mention MODEL of laptop, NAME of game and EXACT error message

If the game is new, try going back to shop to complain !

you could have gotten a corrupt game disk. take it back in exchange for a new one.
