They are certainly a legitimate political party in the same sense that any other political party is. Whether you agree with their politics is entirely another matter. They have their manifesto, which some people will cheer and others will find abhorrant. We live in a democracy with freedom of speech and a political party has a right to represent its own political opinion. If you don't agree with them then don't vote for them, or campaign against them. But the fact that you don't agree with them doesn't make them illigitimate. A political party is only illigitimate if it is proscribed by law, usually under anti-terrorist legislation. Hope that helps

Zak how are the bnp misrepresenting the placement touching directly to immigration. supply me some occasion. Are they incorrect that the lords stated there is not any financial income from immigration to Britain. That immigrants decrease the wages for british worker somewhat the working type. That a muslim is a minimum of five situations lots greater possibly to committee a hate crime then a indigenous brit in accordance to police statics. That survey coach have been immigration is going up experience of community is going down. That britain has grow to be a haven for foreign places criminals. That the police themselves admit that pc attitudes have broken there potential to do there activity. That immigration has greater advantageous fourfold considering labour took power. That there very own immigration minister has admitted they had know concept what they have been doing. That ethnic ghetto are no longer bobbing up throughout Britain. That Britain inhabitants is already the 2nd maximum overpopulated in europe and could exceed 70 million if quickly if immigration persevered. That 70% p.c. of human beings want a dramatic shrink immigration yet each and every of the foremost celebration have refused to even talk the prospect. i'll give up now yet i've got no longer even instructed you the worst "i do no longer choose to scare you" of it yet only tell the place is what they are asserting that incorrect.

They are a legitimate political party. Their views are seen as extreme by some people, and from reading Nick S's reply, Exeter University does too. So much for open education that discusses issues. We can take that Exeter University is yet another establishment that is over-run with left wing fascists.
If the immigration continues at its current rate, immigrants continue to take 85% of all new jobs, put intolerable pressure on the NHS, housing, education etc, then we shall see more BNP councillors being elected.

The party that claims to represent the socially deprived yet they vote in councils against the building of new council houses, schools and giving pensioners free travel passes. They say this is to stop multiculturalism. Well I wonder do they when they campaign to a person on the housing list that they always vote against the building of new council houses. They hope no one reads the council records I think and they know most of their supporters would not bother reading such things anyway. some not knowing what they have done to prevent the voters getting what they would so like.

A legitmate party but rather sneaky in keeping people from knowing what there elected members vote against.

Yes.

I don't agree with the vast majority of what they say or believe, but we live in a country with free speech and free politics and one of the down points is that bigots have the right to preach there brand of politics if they so wish.

However it matters little, if you don't like em' don't vote for em' I know I don't, won't and wouldn't.

to the people who calling the racist. You are fools. The BNP are gaining votes, they are a legal political party.
Just because they are standing up for the Native British population doesnt make them racist. Every ethnic background has a voice in the UK apart from the Natives. Because of current daft PC laws everything, the BNP are labelled racists for standing up for themselves and the British People.

Do you want to live in an oppressed regime like Iraq was under saddam?
Do you want the mess that is in Pakistan and the Middle-East?
Do you want your fundamental human rights destroyed?
Do you want to be forced to go the mosque every Friday?

Well I certainly dont. Your choice!!!

Yes and no. Yes they are a political party, but I doubt if they ever got into power their policies would ever be actually enforceable. As a side point, the University of Exeter (where I study) has a "no voice" policy for the party due to how bigoted their views are.

Some of their councillors don't even bother to turn up to political meetings so why should I give them the time of day?
