8 months ago my wonderful husband suffered a heart attack and is still recovering. Life will never be the same as it was for him. He had to have a pacemaker/defibulator placed and he has suffered physically and emotionally everyday since. If there was anything on earth I could change it would be to give him his health and life back as it was. How we cope,,,,,we have no choice but to accept things the way they are, HOWEVER,,,we still thrive on the love we started out with 28 yrs ago. It keeps us going AND enjoying life together. He is still as much my hero as he was from day one. I thank God that my handsome, sexy hero is still with me and that our love will take us as far as we ned to go.

If I could change just one thing, it would be to not have this disease that has grown in me from a mere nuisance to overtaking my life and will only continue. How do I cope? If someone has to have it, I would rather it be me than someone I love, once loved or even know. I would simply hate the fact a child could have to live their life with this. Yet, if it has to be done, let me handle this burden so another will not have to........

hours before my dad died, we spoked by phone (no one knew he had only hours remaining), I told him, Dad, wait for me tomorrow I will see you, ( I used to live in another city ) I couldn´t make it, when I got home that night, I received the message he had passed away, the next morning I travel to the service for him, after several years is hard to me still to accept I couldn´t be with him in his last moments...
