I got the shot on the 26 of this month...It was my first shot...about a day after i got it...my nipples began to hurt really bad... like I literally had to hold something up against them to stop the pain... I read online that sore nipples are a symptom... but i also have an itchy bottom... i couldn't find anything that said that an "itchy bottom" was a symptom after the depo shot... Have this happened to you or should I go bac to the doctors?

*sigh*
I had horrible side affects. Weight gain, loss of libido, mood swings from hell, etc.
Please read the reviews on http://www.rateitall.com and google "depo provera lawsuit" and don't take your next shot!
PLEASE, next time RESEARCH any drug a doctor wants you to take before taking it!

I got the shot after my first child was born. I loved it, I had no symptoms at all. I did hear of some women having problems with it though.
Call your Doctor and ask about it and find out what he/she would suggest.

All I know about the depo shot is that I was on my 3rd shot when I got pregnant for my 4th child. Love her and wouldn't trade her for anything, but then hubby went and got snipped. So be careful and watch yourself.

My mother had me on it when I was a teenager. I don't remember allot of the symptoms, because that was around 14 years ago, but i bled for 9 mo. strait on it, before my mother let me discuss switching to the pill.
