Someone has just told me that they heard a weather forecast on the radio which suggested there is a possibility of heavy snow in London on Thursday.

Is it true?

it may be true but we will have to wait and see,
My own weather forecast for snow every year, is to watch the weather on the news in America, and within a short time we will be having variations of that, It seems to work but possibly not for all.

did hear something a couple of days ago that Britain would be under a blanket of snow in the new year with temperatures in some places as low as -8c. better get a supply of candles in as all our services will no doubt fail. No electric, no buses, therefore shops in outlying areas especially wont open so no bread, milk etc. what doom & gloom to look forward to. still how many times do the weather folk get it right. if we do get snow it prob wont last very long.

Oh great - just as the schools go back they'll have to close. Half and inch of snow in the South and mass panic will ensue.

First I've heard of it. I hope not though, some of us are not as nimble on our feet as previously and therefore snow (and ice) are a hazard which I can well do without.
