Undoubtedly cricket is an unpredictable and highly volatile game. The young and dynamic Indian players have shown their calibre in this format.

Striking success of T20 Aussies have to redefine their strategy if they want to be on top.

Like, i've answered this before, they just didn't see the importance of 20/20 when they played in the 20/20 world cup, & most of the players wanted nothing to do with it so they put no effort into it. Now however, CA has told them to get serious about it and should they soon have occassion to play India, it may be a different story.

In response to the first answer.

What do you mean CAN'T?

You watched the semi-final i presume.
Both sides played well, with India coming out on top.

If Australia never beat India in T20, then i owe you, as you said they CAN'T beat India at it. pffft.

20 over cricket is exciting, but more individualist cricket, as in one guy needs to shine for a probably victory.

When India verse Aussies over a solid 50 overs. (as shown in world cup), or 5 days.. (current test series) India get it handed to them.. Oh so much potential with 1 billion citizens..

India has beaten Australia in ONE T20.. No need to get all pumped over one game. When they dominate the Aussies for a few years, then you can have some credit.

congratulations i hope you are so proud, thats the difference between Indians and Aussies-you guys are happy you won a t20 cup but here in oz its not highly rated like test cricket and the real WORLD CUP ODI is,and every country is really rated on their test performance as this is the true and hardest form of cricket.

any country can play T20 cricket and even odi's for that matter but not every country is granted test status-and this proves its the real test of how good a team is.

so good on India for their T20 cup i hope its enough to satisfy you guy's we on the other hand are no.1 in test and ODI's for over 10 years-good luck catching us

So what, are you number 1 in test cricket? are you number 1 in true one day cricket, have you achieved a world cup win in the last 20 years? have you ever achieved number 1 status in test cricket? NO NO NO AND NO, 20/20 is hit and giggle, when Australia decides to play it properly and not treat it as a joke then watch out, because we will dominate that as well.

So my response would be win something that means something not a joke competition, unless you like living with mediocrity.

Of all the three forms T20 is the most unpredictable since just one mistake could change the fortunes of a Team.
So it will be difficult for any team to taste continuous success.
If India tasted more success in T20 compared to other forms it is because some of her weakness could be concealed in T20.Their stamina is also good enough for this version.
