Hey guys, just a general FYI: go to Google and type '1 liter in quarts'. Google's conversion tool is amazing. If you type '1 liter in imperial quarts' it gives you the actual British (i.e. correct) version (which being 0.87987663). Try '1 fluid ounce in imperial fluid ounces'.

It is a perennial matter of mystery why the US took a perfectly valid system of weights and measures and messed around with it. If everyone would just go SI it would make life much easier.

One quart. Plus a bit which is as near 1.8 ounces as makes no difference. "Liter," btw is an acceptable spelling in US English as well as several other languages.
