Both..... I have expensive sunglasses because I wanted the best for my eyes and I know they look cool.

To protect my eyes.
I drive a truck for a living so I have polarized sunglasses that allow me to see through rain, fog, snow...etc.
It would be futile for me to wear them in an attempt to look cool since I am fat bald and ugly and look like a cross between Quasimodo and the elephant man.

That is just a pictures for the kids telling them the sun ray is glaring and that the SUN needs a pair of sunglasses!

when i wear them i dont think they protect my eyes but when i wear them to look cool, i wear them on my head lol =D
