it is perfectly normal i am 13 and i have just got my period and i love to masterbate before i got to sleep

It's perfectly normal for anybody to masturbate. There is no "normal" age or times per week you should masturbate. Some people start as early as 9 and some (claim) they have never masturbated. Masturbating can help relieve stress, help you get to sleep quicker and can relieve PMS pains.

Hey, lighten up!! (-: What is normal for a particular woman or girl is normal for her. Masturbation is certainly normal, but there's no set number of times to do it in a certain time period. Most women vary.
This is by definition a solo sport. It is a thing one does for one's own enjoyment--never mind what is "normal" or what others think. Making it into a contest kinda ruins it.

Of course it's normal sweetheart you don't need to feel as though it's wrong either because you are more or less experimenting with yourself. It doesn't matter how many times a week is normal, there is'nt a restriction. It is simply whether you feel you want to masturbate or not xx

It is 100 % normal for Girls to masturbate. Normally girls after attaning puberty would mastrubate but younger girls also play with thier private parts occassionally. One cannot have have "defination" of what could be called as Normal, but upto 5-7 times in a week can be considered as ok and acceptable.

From all the other answers here, we seem to agree that starting young is normal (I started when I was about 4) and doing it frequently when you are a bit older is also normal.

It is all dependent on your feelings. Sometimes ladies need more sex and sometimes they need less. It just sort of happens when you discover it works. Privacy and confidentiality are always issues.
