I must be lucky, I've already got both, and I didn't "choose".
But if I HAD to choose, being a man, I'd choose brains and hope that a girl who chose 'looks', wouldn't have the brains to see that I was ugly. How's that?

I know that you asked to choose one or the other...but I have to say this...
Both are really subjective and a person can give the illusion of being both without being either! Follow your interests, develop a style and look that you are comfortable with and that you feel works best for you, and foster a sense of compassion and curiosity about the world and the people around you, and you'll find that you've become both beautiful and brainy. However, because you'll be so involved in living a full and satisfying life, you'll stop asking or wondering about your question and it will become moot.

Depends on whether self is a girl or guy. If i am a girl i would choose looks because with only a bit of common sense one can get very far.
But if i am a guy, i would definitely go for brains, because even if i am 'ugly' i would be able to find a beautiful woman.

I would choose brains as there is more satisfaction in intellectual developments than there are in being just a pretty face.

well it depends on how bad the looks are if its average looks with brains then i chose brains but if its but ugly then i choose looks

I would prefer looks only cause they really do help you out at times. The world is shallow.
