definitly the 07 redsox with Josh Becket in that rotation folllowed by playoff ace curt shilling if that how u spell it lol. The redsox offense is way better than the 06 tigers, and the tigers pitchers couldnt field a simple bunt versus the cardinals. The pitchers basically handed the cardinals the world series. The 07 redsox are going to repeat as world series champions in 08

Your asking this to a Yankees fan?

Look at the 2004 ALCS!

Look at the 2007 ALCS!

They were five outs away from winning the 2003 ALCS, and god knows what they would have done to the Marlins in the World Series, had Grady Little had the nerve to pull Pedro Martinez when the Yankees were rallying in the eigth inning.

A line up with David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Mike Lowell, Kevin Youkillis, Jacobi Ellsbury has way more power than one with Magglio Ordonez, Curtis Granderson, Craig Monroe, and the puny Ivan Rodriguez.

Whats makes you think that the 2006 Tigers could be compared to the 2007 Red Sox? Josh Beckett would crush Justin Verlander. Jeremy Bondermann wouldn't hold the Red Sox hitters. Kenny Rodgers could not beat Curt Schilling. And Jonathan Papelbon, while immature, is by far a better closer than Todd Jones.

The 2007 Red Sox have a better rotation, better pitching, hitting & fielding than the 2006 Tigers. So I would definitely go with the 2007 WS Champions.

I think the Red Sox would win in 7 games. But look out for the 2008 Tigers, they've had some great off-season additions that will only improve their already-powerful roster. They could possibly take out the Bo-Sox in the playoffs this year!

I am guessing the Red Sox would give them even more trouble than the Cardinals did in 2006.

And I am guessing only seven Cardinals would even make the Red Sox roster if you wanted to combine those two team together some how.

So if most of the good players are on the Sox, and the Tigers could not even beat the Cards to begin with... then the Red Sox of 2007 would have the advantage on paper.

Sox, the tigers didn't even win the Series in 06

unless I am mistaken here...didn't the 2006 Tigers lose in the world series? so why make the comparison? I think the 2007 Red Sox would have beaten the 2006 Devil Rays too...come on, at least compare world series winners with other world series winners
