He is a bottle fed baby (alimentum) eats and sleeps well but should I worry for his rapid gain weight and size? Is this normal???

Thanks

Has his Doctor raised any questions or concerns for your son? Ask the doctor next time you go in for his 6 months shots to compare his measurements and weight to the chart that is used to follow children's growth. My Grandson exceeded in some areas but by the time he turned a year old he pretty much equaled out to the average 1 year old. Just keep an eye on it and keep records to.

My daughter was well above average in weight gain and above, but not so much, in height when she was little. Once she turned one and had been walking for a while she got less and less chubby and is now the skinniest little thing! People actually ask me if she is a fussy child and she musn't eat much because she is so skinny but the truth is she eats as much as me but has an incredibly high metablolism like her father. (oh, she's 5.5yrs old now)

I wouldn't worry too much but ask your doctor about it next time you see him. Every baby develops differently so try not to worry until you know what is causing his weight gain. It could just be the formula is too 'fatty' for him and he needs a different one.

best of luck

while you're unclear approximately your childs wellbeing i could take her to the peditrician and talk approximately your concerns. Odds are being a clean determine you're able to be able to easily be overreacting even nonetheless it is often greater effective to be risk-free than sorry with your little ones

As long as he is growing long as he is gaining weight he is fine. My daughter is 4mos and she weighs close to 20 lbs too. Dont worry! He's healthy!
