Build a time machine, go back to the 1970's. Global warming didn't exist back then, it was global cooling.

There was a time where there was no ice and iceberg. The earth was not cold. People were used to it.
Now in the present time if the Earth will experience very hot weather ,then the people who have the Genes to withstand the hot Sun and temperature, will be the Sole survivors on the Earth.
The rest of the world population will perish in a gory way. Just like roasted turkeys.
One positive out come is that there would be no more need to use oil for Heating.

Last time it happened, California turned out to be a good place. The great glaciers retreated (in Yosemite, there is a place named Glacier Peak. Its a peak and is marked by the old glaciers) and the woolly mammoths all died (just on the other side of the Sierra from Yosemite is Mammoth Lake, named for the Mammoth remains found there) and the place got quite nice.

Well, There would be no London, New York, etc... So the majority of people would head inland, causing even more Population Density. (Im lucky I live in the "Valley's")
We have 100 Odd years, BUT Antarctica will take several 1000's of years to rise most of the land up, So Antarctica would just be several new isles and Islands
Hope it Helps!

Cant say for sure....but Alaska has the highest peaks in the US and has a ecological history that includes tropical forests. Which, if the glaciers melt and the temperatures rise, should prove to be a very fertile region.
