The world is not round in shape. The surface is very jagged and uneven with huge mountain ridges above and below sea level.
The deepest ocean trench is 10, 924 meters deep, more than one mile deeper below sea level than the height of Mount Everest above sea level.
If all the water could be removed the mountains below sea level would look like the blades of a turbine.
Why is the earth shaped like this? That is the question you should be asking.
The answer is obvious, the waters flow along the trenches and drive the Earth around its axis in a never ending circular motion.
You will not be able to find out if this information is correct until all the terrain below sea level has been surveyed and charted.
The work is well under way and should soon be completed, due to the invention of Satellite imaging.
Then you can forget all those outdated unproven hypotheses about gravity, magnetic fields, solar winds and the warped time and space continuum, and completely re-assess the movement of air driven by the mountain blades above sea level and how this natural wind turbine works to prevent global warming.
Enjoy the quest for knowledge, it is all there at your fingertips.

The Earth is flat . That is its a flatened ball. The Scientists call it an Elipsoid ,
Perhaps its due to the pressure of gravity pushing down from each poles causing flatening of the mass structure.
The Earth is not the only flatened structure.
The world of cosmology has also indicated the the Whole Universe is realy flat. Its hard to believe. Why the Universe is not a perfect sphere is something difficult to know why.

It's not round it's an oblique spheroid. It's because of gravity pushing down on the poles and making the top slightly flatter.
