I agree with the person who suggested that you should dilute coffee with milk, and eventually get her off the coffee. And also, he remind you that you take control of the situation, not let her control you. Your objective is to stop her coffee drinking habit at this early stage of life.
But you need to learn: 1. Never give her to people who give the coffee again, if you know. 2. Even there is no law to protect the child, but if you tell a judge what happened, or, even recorded the video clip, and present in a court of law, I believe the law enforcement person will do something to protect you and your child. 3. I hope you get out of the terrible situation. Good Luck in 2008!

i know there is a natural thing which tastes like coffee but it's made out of plants.but that's not the answer for ur problem either. i'd say u should just not pay attention to her or ignore her for a day.if' she doesn't want to eat an keeps askin for coffee u only have to offer her food. but only once.she must understand it's not good to be a spoiled kid.my mom had this problem with my brother when he was lil(he was drinkin coffee foam). they went to the hospital for i dunno what and there was this lil kid screamin @ there durin an intervention, so my mom told my bro that the kid was drinkin coffee and the same would happen to him if he keeps drinkin. my brother was so scared that he didn't ask for any for a veeery long time.maybe u should accept her addiction, or try out whatever specialised ppl advise u. u have to be a good parent to get through this one.i dunno how much a shrink would help u.she's just a baby after all..hope it works out for u.

That is pretty bizarre! And I though I started early.

I suggest you buy a heathy coffee substitute and say it is special coffee (but no caffeine in it). Gradually wean her off. It's addictive stuff - you don't want a child on it.

This should be a priority for you at the moment. Keep her away from those previous care-givers, cause they obviously DON'T care.

How does it endanger her life? I'm 13 and I've been drinking my coffee black (sometimes I just eat plain coffee beans) ever since I was 5 or 6 and I'm very healthy.

why would you leave your daughter that long? Coffee has a lot of caffine but so does coke. I don't think you can do a thing about them giving her coffee... the poor girl is addicted to it.

mix it with more and more milk each day, eventually it will just be milk. remember you are the mom, you don't need to negotiate with a three year old.
