I was on the invisible children website, getting some information about the war in uganda when I came across the schools for schools program.

I really want to get involved in the program b/c i am a high school student but it seems a little overwhelming. My school isn't registered and I don't really know how to get started.

If anyone has some information about the schools for schools program or other ways to help in uganda, let me know please!!!

Check out www.Heifer.org .

It's a phenomenal non-profit, and they do wonderful work around the world. They are careful to help the locals keep their culture and language and environment safe, as well as stimulate the economy without damaging it.

Also you can contact:

www.MercyCorps.org/mercykits

Another website may provide you with links to possible aid for you http://www.stfx.ca/research/rgo/internat...

Good luck.

Look for a non-governmental organization involved in the schools for schools program in order to participate in the helping children.
