I take a hot shower and then I can usually sleep. Also start at your toes and feel a band of relaxation that surrounds the toes.Feel the muscles "let go." Feel the tension drain away. Now move the energy up your foot, then your leg all the way to your head. Do it slowly and feel each section unwind. If you can't stay focused be forgiving and start over where you left off. Nite nite.

I would suggest reading a book you're interested in, as a previous answerer said.

Don't think about not being able to fall asleep. You will catch up on the lost sleep soon enough!

Get up and do something you don't like, such as dishes or mopping the floor. Guaranteed after a few nights of this, you'll stay asleep. For immediate relief, try a benadryl, a cup of chamomile tea, warm milk, a banana. Do not drink soda or coffee, tea, or eat/drink chocolate within 5 hrs of bedtime.

I get insomnia alot...it is my own fault most of the time. Just have to learn to relax. It is 3:19 here and just woke up, to get back to sleep will start by turning off the computer...big mind stimulator. Then try to think of serene thoughts...comforting thoughts. I also take melatonin. That really helps alot. Hope ya get some zzzzz's...its frustrating, I know. Take care.

Don't use the computer or watch TV. They are both very stimulating to the brain. Reading is your best bet. Or getting in a warm bathub or shower and then out (when the body goes from one temp to another it gets tired).

ya its 3 am here too ( Canada Brampton) Im just waiting for a girl to come on msn ( she always does then we talk :D ) but today it seems she went to sleep or went to a friend's house. Well if you wanna fall asleep then read a book....drink hot milk with honey mixed inside......listen to blues/jazz. Ya i know I can't sleep cuz i can't stop thinking about her >.<

Flip on Nickelodeon and watch some Home Improvement. You'll laugh a bit and then drift off. Thats my routine anyways.

Sleep- maybe some nyquil.... hehe* or just lay there for a while!

Stuff to do- ebay? surf this thing.... read a book.... go on chatrooms... Take a bath.... lol*
