how long does it take for it to work on full effect? because i started taking it 3 weeks ago and have hadunprotected sex but he has pulled out before he has came. so just wondering.

I read the pamphlet and it said 7 days, but my mom and other people are saying it takes about a month. But that was when they were my age and I'm 17 now.

I'm not sure if it's the same for all BC but it should be in affect after a week. Read your pamphlet!

im using Yaz as well, and i read the entire manual first ... i suggest doing so it explains everything you need to know in there including what to do if you miss a day, etc. personal suggestion, i would wait atleastttt a cycle or so to have unprotected sex ... just double with a condom for the first month or two until you can be positive. no need for unwanted pregnancy

It takes about two weeks to be in full affect so you should be good and as long as he pulled out you will not get pregnant

It should be effective after about a week but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
