What goes on in hypnosis, including mass hypnosis,is the play of Suggestion, a psychological process and not a physical energy. A.Mesmer who was credited with originating this, thought that he has a special energy which he is imparting to people to cure them. But the modern researches has proved,- and they are extensively using it on that basis- that is is the effect of Suggestion given by trained/professional person.
