Something like this actually happened to my nephew last night: His truck had broken down half an hour from home. While he was waiting for his dad to take him home (thinking he'd come back & tow it home the next day), a guy stopped & asked why he didn't just get it home that night. When my nephew told him he couldn't afford to hire a tow truck, the guy insisted on paying the $60 the nearby garage charged for an hour's use of their tow truck!
Back to your question though ... I'd love to accept it if the whole thing didn't just seem too suspicious! (I guess we're assuming I don't know the benevolent one, right?)
A very dear couple we know from our church has given us a card with $100 twice now, just saying, we feel led of the Lord to give you this!

I wouldnt take it cuz it would make me feel uncomfortable, confused, and guilty. I wouldnt even take $100 from a friend. But I would be polite enough to say No Thank You

Saw that once in NY City, wow! Unfortunately I was not the lucky recipient... The guy looked at the other guy.' like if you are crazy to give it, I'm crazy enough to take it.

I'd look around to make sure no one was giving me that, "he's an axe murderer" look and then I'd laugh and say thanks....and yeah, i would probably pass it on since I would see it as a windfall that I didn't need as much as someone else does

I would accept it with a great big thank you and probably donate it to the pet shelter.

I guess I would have to bend over and drop my pants to give you the proper thank you.
