Cause, I'm a girl. No, really, I'm the youngest of six, the only girl, born 10 yrs after the stair-step birth order boys, that everyone was so proud of. I really think my parents, and most of my parent's friends were disappointed that I wasn't a boy, then, they would all overcompensate by giving me expensive, pink, "effeminate" gifts that were totally adult and inappropriate for a child, maybe that's why I could never measure up to their standards....{fuk 'em, they were too old and set in their ways when they had me, anyway...} I still love all of them old goats, regardless of all that drama.

I know it will be really hard for me, seeing as I am child-bearing, not ball-bearing, and have two X chromosomes. Sounds like parents have goals that their son is not meeting. Either their goals are too high or he is lazy or some of both. A serious discussion with parents seems called for here.
