I think Eden started life as a boys name and like a lot of male names it is now being used for girls, which i dislike a lot. i think Eden would be a great middle name.

I have always associated the name Eden with females - mostly because all the people I know with that name are females - so you might catch a lot of flack for giving it to a boy.

Aiden sounds similar to Eden (no, probably doesn't have the same meaning, but I honestly don't know) if that's something you are interested in trying.

Blessings.

Eden is a girls name. I don't like it for a boy, even as a middle name.

I love the name Eden for a boy or a girl. Naming a child is a personal choice. The more I say it, the more I like it. Stick with it!

It's perfect as a guy's name.
We have a tv personality called Eden Gaha.
Ignore the 'it's a girl's name' people.

I think it's a shame for any parent to pick out wacked weird names for their kids. My best friend told me his grand son is named Ryder Light.

Sweet as the name "Eden" is....it's NOT a masculine name for a boy--anywhere!! Eden is more femmine sounding for a girl, if u must pick a wierd name.

Sorry, I can only picture Eden for a girls name. Not a boy.

I think that is a nice name, even for a girl. You just need to make sure it goes well with the first and last name. My kids fathers name was True David, that was his real name. But he passed last September. My sons' names are Trey Roger and Trent Eugene.
