Do you think it is unrealistic? It's not as inaccurate as Armaggedon, but what do you think about the chances of another ice age?

I thought some parts were exaggerated but mostly I believe if the climate and weather conditions continue like this, the result is going to be another ice-age.

I did watch the movie and believe that it is very unrealistic. The earth is getting warmer (global warming), not colder so the chances of having another ice age is extremely slim, if possible at all. However, due to the warming effect, there could be a massive "flood" as the oceans could get larger and come more inland.

Yes, it is very realistic. According to my college Biology professor, the earth has ice ages in a regular cycle and we are 2000 years over due for another ice age. Humans and they're technology have succeeded in warming the earth, but that could be the very thing that is our undoing. Yes there will be another ice age. It won't happen that rapid, but it WILL happen.

IMO, there will be, without a doubt, another ice age. Will it happen in my life time? Most likely not, but I'm sure it will again - be it thousands or millions of more years from now, it'll happen. That is of course if Earth is still here then.

i have seen it yes and iloved it it was a very good movie i thought they did a good job with all the SFX i have it in my movie collection as far as anothe ice age well anything is possible right....

It can happen because increase global waarming can lead to melting of ice caps and this can lead to increase in water level . This will lead to a change in all biodiversities and falling of temperature.

I don't think there is much chance that it will happen but it sure made you think didn't it?
I do think that the climates are being reversed (cold to hot and hot to cold) due to global warming but that is just something that we need to try and slow down and adapt too.

I saw that movie in the theater back in spring 2004 I think.
Don't you think that it could happen one day in the future?
Why on earth not?!?

It's very unrealistic. It's just an embellishment of the theory that we are negatively affecting our environment, kind of like the theory of global warming.
