Endure What Cannot Be Cured
This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control. If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully thinking, "God wills it so, so be it." God's plan is beyond our comprehension. Believe in it and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.
When we wake up in the morning we have two simple choices: to go back and dream or wake up and chase those dreams... Choice is yours... but in today's world letting dreams engulf us cannot change anything, it can only add remorse, when we wake up and realize that everything's a dream, that we are back to this rotten world... we lose hope and give up that's why we never win in this battle of loneliness and destruction..So better wake up and bear the pain of reality... =]

What can be done is either to contribute to the madness, or to introduce some sanity into the mix. You don't have to change the whole world. It is enough to have a positive influence on the small portion of the world with which you interact. And it is not true that the whole world is rotten and that people are all mad. Many of them can still be influenced for good. At the very least, the children aren't mad--not yet--and they need our sanity. No matter how rotten things are, it doesn't alter one iota the worthwhileness of making as big a positive contribution as one can. To think otherwise is simply cowardice.

yep, it is a sad fact. As we live in a fallen world.
Realize also that the so-called rotten people are indeed our friends, or friend's friend's friend or family members or relatives or colleagues, etc...
The trick is to avoid temptations in our short little life here on Earth. And to keep our sanity amidst all the raging insanity disguising themselves as the modern city.
Balance the sanity. And avoid temptations at all cause.
We are all in the same trapped bubble.
I have always have a temptaion to be bad and do rotten stuff because of my dysfunctional parents, nevertheless, I always have a deep calling in me (must have come from God) that I should not do the evil things and be a stupid helpless tool of Satan.
Ultimately, it is NOT what happens to you that matters, But, rather, it is your Choice that matters.
You can choose to be remembered either: as a fool, or as a saint.
I would choose the latter.
'For it is more glorious... ;-)

Like, they say , if you cannot avoid it , lie back and enjoy it.
What's our contribution to end this rottenness . Do something about it and you need not raise this doubt again .
