I'm 5"1, weigh around 165, and I'm a teen if that helps fashion-wise.

I want to know what size I am (I know every company is different, but around which size) and also which styles would look best (like low-rise or high rise or boot cut or whatever.).

Also what does inseam mean?

I'm 5'3 and about that size. You will most likely be a 12-13. You will have a very hard time finding anything. Now adays everything is skin tight and long, make sure you get jeans marked 12 short.

Inseam is from your crotch to your ankle. The inner seam that goes down your inner thigh and leg.

unforunately with out your actual measurements you cannot tell what size you are based on your height and weight alone. I can tell you for sure that you are petite because you are under 5'4" tall. So pretty much any pair of pants you buy will have to be altered to the correct length. Inseam is the length of your pants from your crotch down to the bottom of the pant. You are probably 29 inches give or take.

I would probably say you are a size 12..but a lot of that depends on the measurements of your body. As far as what type of styles, straight leg pants are universally flattering on nearly everybody. You have to watch bootleg and flare styles because of your height. So if you do like those pants, make sure they are not too wide.

Size actually really depends on the shape of your body and really can't be determined by weight alone. Same thing with cut. Straight-legged and wide-legged pants are pretty much flattering on just about anybody. If you have wide hips, flares aren't recommended because they just draw attention to it.

Edit- Inseam means the length from the crotch of the jean to the hem.
