the best theory I've seen on the Bermuda triangle was on i think the discovery channel
they were trying to prove that large pockets of light gas like Methane or Helium were coming up from the sea bed and that this could defiantly cause both ship and plane wrecks
for ships a large bubble of air coming underneath can be as disastrous as a torpedo
as far a aircraft once the lighter air releases in the atmosphere their sensors show them wrong data say your flying along in regular atmosphere then you fly into a large amount of lighter air your altimeter which works on air pressure will show you that your increasing altitude when in fact your actually losing altitude pilots who are trained to fly on their instruments will always make the decision to fly lower causing the plane to go down

Yes I do. I agree with this one special I saw on TV about it, that there is an overabundance of methane (?) gas bubbling up from the ocean floor there, sometimes so much that it causes people to become disoriented and then planes crash, ships become abandoned or sink, etc.

There could be some explanation for the occurrences in that area. Maybe electormagnetic impulses or some similar naturally occuring field that could affect radio transmissions.
