There seems to be distinctive fake impression approximately what and who rather makes up the TEA party. The TEA party began as a fiscally conservative grass roots circulate from interior the Republican party. There are Independents, or perhaps some conservative Democrats who affiliate themselves with the TEA party circulate. Calling the TEA party a circulate is actual, with the aid of fact that's not a separate political party. In case that's been forgotten, "TEA" ability Taxed adequate Already. The circulate is created from people who have self assurance they're Taxed adequate Already. Any "TEA party" candidate who ought to run in 2012, could rather be a conservative, and in all probability from the Republican party. As a facet word, does not that's a snort for somebody to announce a candidacy for President, affiliate themselves with the TEA party, and be a registered Democrat? it rather is a danger. unlikely, yet a danger..

I agree with shaffner---

"ME"

At least I would secure the borders and make congress spend within it's means by using last years Tax revenues as the base to support future spending bills.

I would faze out social security and move towards 401ks and IRAs as retirement accounts.

I would also look at the countries that score higher than our kids in standardized test and start implementing those countries school systems into charter schools in the USA. My ultimate goal would be total privatization of our education system through competition. Government should only establish the guidelines--not get involved in the day to day activities. The only standard I would have is that each child that gets to the high school level be able to pass an AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP EXAM that we give to people who come from other countries and become LEGAL Americans.

I would make English the official language of all Federal Government documents---if a state wants to have them in another language they can pay for it. If a judge says it is illegal--I'll try to pass laws that make judges pay for it rather than tax payers through the budget for their offices.

A common language is what makes a country a country. But if a company wants to have it's people speak another language--that is their choice--I would like to make sure everybody knows at least two languages--but again that is up to the states.

Borders, Langauge, Culture--if you don't have those you don't have a country.

I would offer Federal scholarships for students that go into the hard sciences and to become doctors and nurses. Basing the amount of money they receive on their Grades in College.

Tax the interstate movement of electricity and energy to promote states to become more energy efficient.
This would make Florida and California start drilling off their coast and move towards alternative energy that better fits the regional energy supplies they can develop.

I could go on and on.

Rick Perry (TX)
Jim Gibbons (NV)
Matt Blunt (MO)
Butch Otter (ID)
Sonny Perdue (GA)

All are currently governors. All are Republicans. All have military experience.

Perry and Blunt make my short list, as both are Eagle Scouts.

Al Gore. Remember him? He is the one that the majority of Americans voted for. He should be our president now. He would be running for re-election now.
