There ARE only 10 UC schools. They are:
Berkeley
Los Angeles
San Diego
Davis
Irvine
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
Santa Cruz
Riverside
Merced
That would be my ranking of them too, except that I'm not sure where to put San Francisco since it is a specialized school, not easily comparable to the others.

I've seen a 3.7 average gpa with 2100 get into Berkeley... But I do believe UC school is very difficult if you are from out of state. For example. 70 percent of UCLA's (I'd say it's second best, right under Berkeley) students are from CA.
