That's a super good question. And NO they should not stay in power, otherwise we will NEVER get out of iraq. And they're ruining america. Our country is in shambles. Democrats are about freedom and happiness more. idk, I can't wait for a bush to be gone he is such a tool!!

They weren't in power when they had a majority in Congress. The Executive Branch is far weaker than most think, especially when the underlings have been appointed by the opposition in their previous administration.
I would suggest the power at the Federal level be reduced so that they can focus on the primary job of the Federal government: Protect the borders and enforce the Bill of Rights. They have enough trouble doing that.
I'm a citizen, and a legal voter, and I'm P.O.ed at both parties.

That question deserves to be answered with a question. This president has the lowest approval rating in a long time. Do you actually think another republican can make a difference? And don't be fooled by that "the dems are going to raise taxes" line. They may just do that to pay the bill old Georgy ran up, but most of the candidates I've heard plan on hitting the over $200k crowd, which I don't think affects most of us nut-jobs asking and answering these goofy questions.

I am shocked that anyone would answer yes to this question and here's why. Why aren't Republicans acknowledging that Bush has done a lousy job ? Are you so blindly loyal to your party that you'll support the party over the good of the country?
The facts are that Bush has blown handling the Iraq war. He had no understanding of the long term effects of the war and the situation in Iraq is more chaotic than ever. I support American soldiers for their bravery, but I do not support a commander in chief who did not have the courage to fight in the military himself and through a lack of intelligence and foresight has gotten us involved in a very bad situation internationally. WHY ARE REPUBLICANS SO HESITANT TO ADMIT THAT? I MEAN, THE REALITY IS THAT BUSH has done a terrible job managing the war.
At least acknowledge that Colin Powell may have had a valid argument when he argued that the U.S. should get the support of the United Nations before going into Iraq.
Also, look at the price of gasoline. My Republican friends are still trying to blame Bill Clinton for the rising price of gas. Come on now, Bush's wealth comes from the oil industry. Do you not believe that he is profiting from the increased price of oil?
Just be fair and admit that Bush has really failed in some areas. Don't just ttack Democats with name calling a la Rush Limbaugh. Please just take a hard look at the people you support and hold them accountable for the job they do.
Pu the good of the country ahead of a specific party.

While I think Bush & Co. have ben a disaster for America, part of me wants to see the GOP win in 08 so they can't pass the blame on the war and the economy.

What power did they have before 9-11, that was not chopped liver. They had everything they needed to prevent 9-11 from happening.
When this administration has served the people for their four years or whatever, send them over to Iraq, too.
ps: they can help to find Bin Laden, alive.
How's that for personal responsibility.

Republican President!! I sure hope so, and vote out everyone on both sides who have served for over 4 yrs, then we will see things change . To many have put national security on the back burner, and that is a really big, big mistake.

Lets see, should we continue this war against extremists or just admit defeat.
Should we try and appease or engage someone that has absolute hatred for our way of life.
Should we continue with our burgeoning social services programs or increase it ever more to help all those who would rather sit at home than not be a productive member of society?
Lets let Al-Queda choose our next president, I really think they would choose Hillary or Obama.
We are done for as a country it just a matter of time.

If we don't get rid of the incumbents. It doesn't really matter which party is in power; because there isn't any substantive difference between the two parties as they currently exist.

A real Republican in the White house would be a nice change. However for "true" change to occur. The US House of representatives needs to be completely cleaned out with 3rd parties being voted in along with new reps and dems true to the republic and the people finally being truly represented.
