My E: drive is broken &thats where I put dvds to play them but I want know if I can still burn one on the F: drive like I do my CDs.

It has to be a DVD writable drive, and you have to use a blank dvd instead of a CD. Some CD drives also are DVD writable drives and do both, in fact most DVD writable drives also write CDs and read both. If it isn't one then you'll have to get a working one and install it.
